Step 1: Game Capture 

For film to be properly analyzed, the game needs to have a high-quality recording. The NFHS Network is the premier destination for live and on-demand high school sports and activities.  

Through the NFHS Network, your game footage is captured automatically with AI-powered Pixellot cameras. Broadcast live or on-demand with seamless integration into your schedule and coaching tools. You can also look forward to new features on the Network soon, like a first-down line and instant replay. 

Step 2: Automatic Upload 

Once the game has finished and the camera stops recording, the film is automatically uploaded into your Advantage account with no manual steps. Now, your film is ready for analysis and breakdowns. 

Step 3: Breakdowns 

Once the film is in your Advantage account, it’s broken down for stats and analysis. Many different stats are offered through Advantage, including touchdowns for football and flag football, goals for soccer, and rebounds for basketball.  

More in-depth stats are also available, like usage rate in basketball, shot charts in lacrosse, and fouls in field hockey. To view the full list of stats available in Advantage, click here to download. 

These breakdowns will be complete within 12 hours of the game ending, which means by the time you wake up the next day, the game will be fully analyzed and ready for review. You can also add your own custom tags at your discretion. 

Step 4: Scores and Stats 

The scores and stats that are gathered in the advanced breakdowns will then be automatically published on MaxPreps. This eliminates the need to manually update your MaxPreps team page and ensures players get the recognition they deserve.  

If you prefer to double-check the stats yourself before they’re published, you still have that option. 

 
Step 5: Game Recaps 

Each game will generate three different two-minute recap videos (home, away, neutral) that are automatically posted to MaxPreps and available for use on social media. It’s a new way to celebrate players, keep fans informed, and drive more interaction after the final whistle. 

Step 6: Fans Engage 

Last but not least, your fans enjoy and engage with all the content MaxPreps Advantage makes available. Now your fans can watch live or on-demand with the NFHS Network, create their own highlight clips, watch your post-game recap videos, and stay up to date with stats on your teams and student-athletes.
