BALTIMORE and ATLANTA, Sept. 27, 2021 – The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) has renewed a three-year agreement with GoFan as its official digital ticketing partner to provide contactless digital ticketing solutions to high schools throughout Maryland for post-season athletic events.
The transition to completely cashless systems and digital tickets for athletics has accelerated over the past year. The GoFan digital ticketing and event management platform has been adopted nationwide as the faster, safer way for high school fans to purchase tickets and attend events.
GoFan provides speed of entry for fans and helps reduce complexity and costs for schools to manage events. Financial transparency and reconciliation accuracy have been important factors for schools that partner with GoFan for digital ticketing.
“GoFan improves the fan experience to purchase and redeem tickets for our tournament events while making event management much more efficient,” said Andy Warner, MPSSAA Executive Director. “We have been pleased with our relationship with GoFan and look forward to extending our partnership.”
“Working with GoFan has been a great benefit to our school system,” said Michael Duffy, CMAA, Supervisor of Athletics at Carroll County Public Schools. “The ease of use and detailed game reports have been real timesavers.”
