Millennium High School: Enhanced Event Experience and Amazing Moments

Millennium High School: Enhanced Event Experience and Amazing Moments

Preventing long lines at athletic events can lead to bigger crowds, better atmospheres, and memorable moments. That was the case for Millennium High School Athletic Director Remigio Gordillo one day at a home volleyball game.

This volleyball game was the first athletic event where larger crowds were allowed back into stadiums in 2020, and the experience created a special moment for Gordillo.

“I texted my principal during that time, and I said, ‘Man, this is one of the most amazing things I ever just witnessed,’” Gordillo said. “Just the energy, the feeling… our student section was just so enthusiastic and crazy, and it was because they missed that. It really stuck with me, and it was a reminder of why we do it.”

Gordillo adopted digital ticketing early on at Millennium High School and cited long lines at the gate as a driving factor for him.

“It would take people forever to get in,” Gordillo said. “I mean, it’s the second quarter and they’re still trying to get in. So that’s what made me initially interested in the digital ticketing system.”

Since then, the Millennium High School community has embraced GoFan and enjoyed a faster and more convenient gate experience.

“People already have their ticket, so when they walk up, it’s just hit and go,” Gordillo said. “I don’t have to pull out my wallet, I don’t have to look for my card… it’s just made it really smooth, really fast, and convenient for everybody.”

With GoFan, the Millennium High School community can continue to enjoy an enhanced ticketing experience and be there for the moments that can last a lifetime.
